2022 Langsurer Brüderberg Chardonnay “S” Réserve
Description
Our Chardonnay “S” Réserve is a field blend consisting primarily of Chardonnay (approximately 90%) and other Burgundy varieties (10%). The different grape varieties are harvested, fermented, and aged together to create a multifaceted and complex white wine. This wine comes from the Grand Cru vineyard Langsurer Brüderberg, a terraced section of the vineyard with a breathtaking 75% slope. Aged on the lees for 17 months, the Chardonnay “S” Réserve is a true gem, expressing the unique terroir characteristics of its limestone soil.
This Chardonnay is vinified in the style of a Chablis, but impresses with its unique, subtle nuances of other grape varieties.
Enjoy the rich aromas of ripe mirabelle plum, apricot, and peach, enveloped in a creamy, full-bodied texture and a long finish. With only a few bottles available, don't miss the opportunity to experience this exceptional Reserve Chardonnay.
Tastes best with:
Hearty, but not too spicy, braised dishes. Dry-aged beef. Goulash. Vegetarian dishes with lemongrass flavor. Pasta with fresh truffles. Seared tuna.

How to get the most enjoyment from our wines…
In our vineyard and cellar, we work sustainably. This takes time. The youngest vintage matures for at least one year in the bottle – choose the older ones.
Open the bottles at least 30 minutes before drinking. Choose glasses suitable for the respective grape varieties. Give the wine 10 minutes in the glass before tasting it. By the way, white wines can also be decanted…
