  • Description

Elegant, very finely woven Sauvignon Blanc Fumé from slate (from the Oberemmeler Altenberg location). Through spontaneous fermentation in small wooden barrels, the wine develops a strong body and full-bodied creaminess. The aromas typical of the grape variety are combined in a reserved manner. The smoky fumé note resonates and completes this Sauvignon Blanc into a complex and multi-layered enjoyment. You would never believe that the wine has a slim 10.5% alcohol, it tastes so full-bodied.

  • Tastes best with:

Oysters and other raw and marinated seafood, sushi, goat cheese, asparagus, raw vegetable salad, sea fish, river fish, white meat

  • Awards

90 points Savoir Vivre (Big Gold), 89 points Falstaff, 87 points Eichelmann
