2020 Langsurer Brüderberg Chardonnay “S” Réserve
Description
Chardonnay and other Burgundy varieties as a blend (approx. 90% Chardonnay)
Our "S" class from the great Langsurer Brüderberg site (terraced part of the mountain with a 75% gradient) as a reserve with 22 months of yeast storage and from re-selected grapes: only a few bottles that have matured in small wooden barrels. Chablis style, yet very distinctive due to the subtle accompaniment of the other grape varieties, intense notes of ripe mirabelle plum, apricot and peach, very creamy and full-bodied, pure limestone soil, powerful and very long finish, dry - bottled in September 2022. We then gave the wine another 15 months of bottle storage before it went on sale.
Tastes best with:
Strong but not too spicy braised dishes. Dry aged beef. Goulash. Vegetarian dishes with lemongrass flavour. Pasta with fresh truffles. Fried tuna.

How to have the most fun with our wines…
We work sustainably in the vineyard and cellar. That takes time. The youngest vintage matures in the bottle for at least 1 year - choose the older ones.
Open the bottles at least 30 minutes before drinking. Choose glasses suitable for the respective grape varieties. Allow the wine to sit in the glass for 10 minutes before tasting it. By the way, white wines can also be decanted...
