description
A Riesling from old vines (planted in 1963). Limited to 660 bottles, unfiltered, from our best plot in the Wilitinger Klosterberg (large location). Intense scent of meadow herbs, herbal aromas and stone fruit, very spicy and elegant, long and persistent, dry (<2 g/l residual sugar), moderate acidity.
Tastes best with:
light and medium-aged raw milk cheeses, fresh goat cheese. Young hard cheese. Fried fish and light vegetarian dishes. Oysters and seafood au gratin without acidic marinade. Asian dishes with light to medium seasoning. Medium flavored stews. Pasta with pesto and pine nuts.
