Our 2023 Sauvignon Blanc Orange Fumé is an elegant and finely structured wine, characterized by the slate soil of the Oberemmeler Altenberg vineyard. Spontaneous open-vatt fermentation gives it a robust body and a rich, full-bodied texture. The varietal aromas are subtle, allowing the smoky Fumé note of the wine to shine through. This makes our Sauvignon Blanc a complex and multifaceted taste experience. Perfectly suited as an accompaniment to hearty dishes or enjoyed on its own during a cozy evening on the terrace or by the fireplace.

Eichelmann: "The Sauvignon Blanc is very different from all other wines of this variety on the Moselle. It smells of ground stone, herbs and fresh citrus peels, is taut, dry, very invigorating."
